As much as this pandemic has been stressful and isolating, it has provided me with precious time to write, photograph, think, and train how to be a voiceover artist (more in another blog). I am thankful that I could indulge in creative ventures during this extended period. I believe that artists of all kinds were particularly fortunate – we had projects to work on, virtual lectures and workshops to “attend”, and the opportunity to focus our attention on our art without outside distractions.
I have to say that I was never bored, rarely lonely and I got a ton of work done in all avenues of my artistic practice. I am naturally thrilled that it looks as though we’re getting to the other side of Covid, but I am also deeply grateful to have had this expressive time.
